The mealy savouriness carries through onto a rich, textural palate, evidence of this wine’s low-intervention winemaking. An intricate bone-dry style that is highly concentrated with a distinct flintiness, tight structure and crisp citrussy finish.

Black Estate Home Chardonnay 2018

Aromas of grapefruit, hazelnut, orange blossom, nectarine and sea spray. The palate is rich pure and integrated with a dense core of concentrated fruit, flavours taper to a salty mineral and long finish. Unfiltered wine with small amounts of sediment.

Domaine Rewa Chardonnay 2018

This is impressively complex and inviting on the nose showing ripe peach, rockmelon, lemon peel, nougat and cedar characters with nuances of flint and spice. The palate is equally gratifying with excellent concentration and expansive mouthfeel, leading to an extremely long engaging finish.

Sacred Hill Riflemans Chardonnay 2017

The wine has a complex nose showing hazelnut and walnut, ripe citrus zest and citrus blossom with hintsof lemon brioche. The palate is fabulously full  rich with a supple vein of lively acidity lending support to creamy oak tannins.

Sweet lifted oak, cedar and spices jump from the glass, followed by apricot and peach. Richly textured with the racy acid line Te Muna is famous for. There's length and breadth and a chalky, oyster shell finish.
