From the winemaker…
Terroir in a glass – very site specific, sophisticated and unique, our Surveyor Thomson Pinot Noir is our flagship wine.
Scents of grilled cherries are joined by earthier notes of beetroot on the nose of the 2016 Surveyor Thomson Pinot Noir. It’s medium-bodied, silky-textured and generous on the palate, ending in a gentle wash of ripe tannins and mouthwatering acids.
We hold its release date back to provide our customers with a perfectly balanced Pinot Noir hence the older 2016 vintage. This wine has real age, texture and structure and is the perfect food wine.
“Supple pinot noir with a mix of savoury, dried herb and spicy oak flavours, with subtle floral and cherry characters supported by fine, peppery tannins. An elegant rather than blockbuster style with cellaring potential.”
