A great depth of deep purple colour with a vibrant purple hue.
An intense nose of complex spice with subtle stemmy, dark plum fruit. Tremendous depth and concentration to the fruit aromatics with background liquorice from the stem inclusion.
Layers of complex fruit characters – immense but vibrant and contained. The spicy plum fruit carries straight to the entry onto the palate. A soft and generous texture gives way to fine grain structural tannins.
Softness and elegance with juicy acidity balancing the core of plush fruit. Then it’s line and length all the way, the persistency is almost timeless. This is a highly approachable wine.
