Craggy Range Winery has for the second time been recognised in the World’s Best Vineyards. Ranking 17th puts Craggy Range alongside some of the world’s most respected wineries; names like France’s Mouton Rothschild & Chateaux Margaux, Italy’s Antinori, the United State’s Opus One and Australia’s Penfolds.

World’s Best Vineyard Founder, Andrew Reed said: “Wine is produced in almost 60 countries around the world and is hugely important to many national economies. The World’s Best Vineyards not only highlights these amazing destinations, but it also helps raise their profile amongst national and international tourists alike. In an age where the next generation is looking for extraordinary and authentic experiences, these wineries are simply a mustvisit!”

Craggy Range Director, Mary-Jeanne Peabody commented “We are thrilled to be recognised as one of the World’s Best Vineyards. Since starting Craggy Range 21 years ago we have always aspired to sit alongside the great wineries of the world, so to be on the list is amazing but to be at number 17 is truly humbling”.

General Manager Aaron Drummond commented “It is always nice to be recognised, particularly with this type award as it focuses on longer-term performance. While we are on the right track, we can always improve and will continue to increase our efforts, especially regarding quality and sustainability, both from an environmental and a community perspective”.
