Greywacke’s Kevin Judd was the founding winemaker at Cloudy Bay – the winery that put New Zealand on the wine map. He oversaw 25 vintages and then started his own winery, Greywacke to fulfil a long held dream.
Domaine Rewa’s Philippa Fourbet took a leap of faith and purchased, sight unseen, the 5.5-hectare vineyard and French-styled cadole in 2010 – and she’s delighted she did.
